Girl's Weekend

I was lucky enough to have my Mom and my Aunt Molly visit this past weekend for three days of girl time! It was great. We lunched, talked, shopped...and tried to teach my mom how to use Facebook:) We looked at some baby stores and got some planning/ideas going for the nursery. But, poor Duke! He was in our bedroom most of the time he was home so he could watch the basketball games instead of HGTV! We had a blast and I can't wait to see them again.

Baby Finds

I'm going to try and be better about posting on this site, but I also don't want all my posts to be baby stuff and maternity clothes. So, I started another little blog to catalog all my good baby finds and ideas. Hopefully my girlfriends who read this and have kids will give me some ideas to post and those that are thinking about starting a family can get some ideas too. Check out Oh Baby! if you are interested. The actual link is http://cranleyohbaby.blogspot.com/. One of my first posts is about these shoes...how cute are they? Ok, now I need one of the babies to be a girl!

Florida 2009

I have not posted in while, but with good reason. These twins have been making me really really sick. BUT, the morning sickness is FINALLY OVER and I feel great...like a new person. So, I'll try and post more regularly now. The morning sickness ended just in time for our trip to Venice, FL to visit my grandparents and Duke's mom. My parents, aunt Molly and her husband Vernon were also visiting at the same time and we all had a blast.

The weather was perfect. It was so nice to get out of cold Chicago for a couple of days. We hit the beach, pool, golf, shopping and lots and lots of food! We also had a wonderful visit with my Great Grandma Taylor who is in a nursing home near my grandparents. It was so nice to see her. She's 103!!!! She was able to sing with us which she loved, answered some questions and waved when we left and told us to be careful at the beach. I was so glad Duke had the chance to meet her before she passes. We told her that she would be a Great Great Grandmother to twins in August and she couldn't believe it.

Now it's back to reality in Chicago, but the weather is starting to turn around and we're starting to get ready for the babies which is fun. I'm looking forward to next weekend when my mom and aunt molly are coming here for the weekend to help with some planning for the babies.

Happy 30th Keely & Spencer!

This is a very belated post, but we wanted to wish our good friends Keely and Spencer Singer a happy 30th bday. They both recently joined the big 30 club. We were sorry to miss Spence's surprise party, but we heard it was a blast. Hope you're both enjoying 30 so far!
