Happy Birthday Delanie!

Today is Delanie Oskay's 1st birthday!!! I went to the Oskay's this weekend for Delanie's big bday bash and it was so much fun. The theme was E-I-E-I-O and everything from the food (pigs in a blanket and Baa Baa BBQ) to barnyard party favors to Delanie's littl piggy smash cake was perfect. You can see more pics on their babysite. It was so much fun to visit with both Delanie and Emmerson. They are growing up so fast. Delanie is so sweet and happy all the time. Emmerson is the life of the party. I know she loves her Auntie Sarah (or as she calls me "ara"), but she's always asking for Duke!! The Oskay's new house is looking awesome and it was so good to get some girl time with Jorie.

Now, it's back to work this week with a visit from my mom to look forward to this weekend.

Jenny's Bachelorette Party

Jenny Sharp's (soon to be Beaumont)bachelorette party was the other weekend and I wanted to post a couple pictures. We had so much fun and a bunch of her girlfriends from home and college came in for the weekend. I love them all and wish they lived in Chicago! We had a lingerie shower for Jenny at Keelys (the place looked amazing for the party) and then headed out to a couple places in the city for drinks and dancing. Jenny looked fabulous as usual and I can't wait for their wedding in May in Kansas City!!!

Hollywood

I just got back from a business trip to LA for the ABA. I travel to four big meetings a year and they are always in nice places...although I don't get out of the hotel to see that much. This time we went to Beverly Hills and I was really hoping for a celebrity sighting.

I had a really good chance too! My hotel was really nice, I went to Rodeo Drive when I had a quick break, dinner at Spago and reception at SkyBar in west hollywood. But, my only star sighting was Wolfgang Puck at Spago. Oh well...maybe next time.

The weather was beautiful and I had some amazing dinners. But, I'm also glad to be home. My next meeting is in May and we are going to the Red Rock Resort in Spa in Las Vegas and I'm trying to convince Duke to tag along.

Fun in the Sun

Here in Chicago we are about to get hit with another snowstorm. It's cloudy, cold and wet...not the best for your mood. BUT, these pictures of our Nephew Grayson are exactly what I needed to cheer me up! How cute is he in his new swim trunks under that palm tree??? Grayson and his mommy and daddy were in Florida over the weekend visiting his GREAT GREAT Grandma Taylor.
