Welcome Emery and Ainsley!

Our very good friends John and Jenny Beaumont just welcome their two beautiful daughters to the world on April 17th. Emery Jane and Ainsley Grace Beaumont make a quick entrance into the world last Saturday night right after I was able to spend some time with Jenny at a baby shower for our friend Nicole.
Babies, mom and dad are doing great! I was lucky enough to be able to visit them in the hospital the other night and they are just the cutest things I have ever seen!! I'm standing next to Ainsley in the pic above. She's busy getting nice and cozy in her warmer and my friend Kathryn is holding Emery.
When I found out that Jenny was having twins, I was so excited for them, but also very excited for me! I am thrilled that Jenny and I can share the experience of carrying twins and being new moms to twins. We have been the best of friends for almost ten years so she, John Emery and Ainsley are very special to me.
We also have other good friends, the Edison family, who are also expecting twins. I mean, what are the odds??
Love you guys! Congratulations on your beautiful family.

Max & Tessa Update

The babies have been so much fun lately. They are almost on the move. They are rolling all over the place, pretty good at sitting up and talking up a storm. We started finger foods a while ago and so far, they love it all. They really like blueberries, cheese and bananas. They are 7 1/2 months and when we went to the pediatrician for a check-up about a month ago, Max was 19 lbs and Tessa was 15lbs. Tessa is still on the small side, but look at her parents! But, they both have ginormous heads around the 80th percentile. Both Max and Tessa are such happy babies and it is so much fun to be around them. We look forward to every day with them!

Welcome Charlie!

Our good friends Brian and Nicole Wells welcomed their beautiful baby boy Charles Anthony Wells on Valentines Day, much earlier than his parents expected. But, little Charlie quickly showed his Mom and Dad what a champ he is and began thriving and growing from day one. Charlie is now at home with Nicole and Brian and we can't wait to meet him. Max and Tessa can't wait for a play date:) Congratulations Wells family!
I give it a 10!
Mr. Clean

Yesterday I put Tessa in her frog chair and Max in his bumbo chair in the living room while I was cleaning up the kitchen. Max had his back to me and was a bit hidden by our chair but I could see his head. I thought he was being unusually quiet, but I didn't want to disturb that nice moment of quiet so I kept cleaning. After a few more minutes of quiet I peeked over and couldn't see his head. So, I walked over into the living room to find this! Max was leaning over his chair to pull out ALL the wipes in the diaper wipe box. He was VERY proud of himself!
